Liberty ULTRA®

Herbicide

A powerful new tool for annual ryegrass control, and an exclusive upgrade for weed control in InVigor® LibertyLink® canola

Modes of action: Group 10
Active ingredients: 211 g/L Glufosinate P-ammonium
Formulation: Soluable concentrate (SL)

Liberty ULTRA is now the most efficient, reliable and easy-to-use glufosinate herbicide available. Two innovative technologies have produced the first significant improvements in performance and crop safety in more than 30 years and make it easier to achieve even better weed control with InVigor LibertyLink hybrids.

Key benefits

  • More concentrated with higher activity than any other Group 10 herbicide
  • Better spray retention, leaf coverage and penetration
  • Highly effective against annual ryegrass, including glyphostate-resistant populations
  • New 1-day plantbacks reflect superior crop safety
  • Much lower application rates simplify application and storage

How it works

The groundbreaking GLU-L™ formulation process produces a new active ingredient based on L-isomer technology. The process used by BASF converts the inactive D-isomers found in all other glufosinate formulations into the more active L-isomer. This means you only have the most active form of the glufosinate molecule in Liberty ULTRA. Liberty ULTRA  is effective at much lower application rates than traditional ‘racemic’ glufosinate.

The other innovation in Liberty ULTRA, Liberty Lock technology, is a unique surfactant package that improves droplet retention and dispersion.
