Economical and effective broad-spectrum disease control
Delan® remains a standard inclusion in many apple spray programs for its strong protectant activity on bitter rot and black spot. Used preventatively at low rates, Delan’s Group M9 multisite mode of action delivers equally reliable control of a wide range of diseases in many other crops. As a less expensive but still very effective option, Delan can be rotated and tank-mixed with other chemistry to bring down the overall cost of protection and manage the threat of resistance.
Delan® is a surface-acting fungicide that inhibits protein formation to prevent fungal spore germination and germ tube growth. It is most effective used as part of a protectant program, and in apples can be tank-mixed with DMI (Group C) fungicides as a preventative addition.
A non-ionic wetting agent must be added when Delan is being applied to stone fruit. When tank-mixed with pesticides for use in other crops require a wetting agent, the agent used must be non-ionic.
