Fungicide

Powerful and extended disease protection

Mode of action: Group 11 fungicide
Active ingredient(s): 250 g/L Pyraclostrobin

Cabrio® is an advanced stobilurin fungicide. The treatment of choice for husk spot in macadamia nuts, Cabrio reduces nut drop and the resulting losses in yield. Cabrio also controls downy mildew in grapevines and rust in almonds. Used as part of a preventative program when conditions favour disease but symptoms have not yet appeared, the extended residual activity of Cabrio provides long-lasting protection against infection.

Key benefits

  • Long lasting protection
  • Longer and stronger residual protection compared to other strobilurin (QoI) fungicides due to cuticle binding.
  • Group 11 fungicide

How it works

Cabrio® is a Group 11 Qol fungicide which stops fungal spores as they germinate and prevents them from infecting plant tissue.

Cabrio offers extended protective fungicidal activity if it is applied when conditions are conducive to disease but symptoms have not yet appeared.

By interfering with cell respiration and the production of energy, Cabrio also provides some curative control by causing fungi to stop growing and die.
