Terms and Conditions for BASF’s Unlock and Uncork competition
1. The BASF Unlock and Uncork Competition (“Competition”) is open to all delegates attending the Hort Connections Conference from June 3-5, 2024.
2. To participate in the Competition, delegates must visit the BASF stand and present their 4-digit code found on the promotion flyer.
3. Delegates will have the opportunity to try their code on a lock provided at the BASF stand. The successful participant who unlocks the lock will win a bottle of Penfolds Grange wine (“Grand Prize”)
4. In the event that a delegate is unsuccessful in unlocking the lock, they will automatically be entered into a secondary draw to win a bottle of Penfolds wine of lesser value.
5. The secondary draw will take place at 2pm on June 5, 2024. If by this time, the lock has not been successfully opened by any participant, the grand prize will also be selected from the secondary draw.
6. Participants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to enter the Competition.
7. Only one entry per delegate is permitted.
8. By participating in the Competition, participants agree to have their name and likeness used for promotional purposes by BASF, without any further compensation.
9. BASF reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in any fraudulent or unethical behaviour.
10. The winners of the Competition will be notified via text no later than 4pm on 5 June 2024.
11. If a winner cannot be contacted within 2 hours of the initial notification, or is found to be ineligible, BASF reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
12. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
13. BASF accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by participants as a result of entering or participating in the Competition or using the prizes.
14. By participating in the Competition, participants release BASF from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Competition is held.
16. BASF reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
17. Any personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and will be handled in accordance with BASF’s privacy policy.
By participating in the Competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
