  • Farmers, growers and agri-professionals are urged to capture big, or small, moments that embody their love of farming.
  • The competition runs from 16 October to 13 November 2024, with 4 weekly winners and one grand winner to share the prize pool of $5,500

Melbourne, Australia – 14 October 2024 – BASF Australia is calling on farmers everywhere to get creative and showcase their love of farming through photography, as the Biggest AgriPhoto Competition returns for its second year. Building on the success of last year’s contest, the competition invites Australian farmers and rural communities to share their passion for farming through photography for a chance to win a share of the $5,500 prize pool.

The competition runs from 16 October to 13 November 2024. Weekly Winners will each receive an Apple iPad 10.9-inch 256GB Wi-Fi (Silver) [10th Gen] valued at $837, while the Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a DJI Air 3 4K Drone worth $2,049. High-resolution images can be submitted through the BASF Australia website.

Agriculture is not just a profession but a way of life. From early mornings on the tractor to late hours spent in the cabin of the header, and the time tending to vineyards, groves, and crops, the Biggest AgriPhoto competition aims to showcase the often-unseen passion and dedication to the biggest job on earth, farming. Through photography, BASF Australia aims to celebrate every moment—big or small—that makes farming unique.

“We are thrilled to launch the second iteration of our Biggest AgriPhoto Competition,” said Parvana Wali, Head of BASF Agricultural Solutions Australia and New Zealand. “This is our way of sharing and celebrating the hard work and passion that drive the agricultural industry.”

“Last year’s entries included incredible meteorological moments, captivating family moments of life on the land and the beauty of the Australian landscape, we look forward to seeing more inspiring images that capture the heart and soul of Australian farming.”

Winners will be announced weekly, with the grand prize recipient revealed on National Ag Day, 15 November 2024.
