BASF is offering growers who purchase Liberty® Herbicide between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024 (Promotion Period) credits which can be used towards purchasing InVigor® LibertyLink® canola seed varieties for the 2025 growing season, subject to the following terms:
- Every one (1) litre of Liberty Herbicide purchased by a grower during the promotion period is worth $8.25 in Canola Credits.
- The total Canola Credits earned during the Promotion Period must, subject to availability, be redeemed for InVigor LibertyLink canola seed varieties (the Offer).
- The redeemed canola seed will be supplied by BASF during the 2025 season.
- The redeemed canola seed will be delivered to the store where the grower’s purchase of Liberty Herbicide was made.
- The Offer is only available for:
i. Liberty Herbicide purchases made between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024;
ii. purchases of 200L or more of Liberty Herbicide in one transaction; and
iii. the first 100,000L of Liberty Herbicide sold within the Promotion Period. - Canola Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or a discount on the purchase of any other BASF canola seed or any other BASF product.
- Canola Credits expire on 31 December 2025 and cannot be carried forward.
- Canola Credits are earned by the grower and cannot be transferred to other growers or accumulated by agents on behalf of growers.
- In the event BASF is unable to provide seed during the 2025 canola season to the value of all or part of the Canola Credits accrued by the purchaser, BASF may substitute other similar canola varieties or, at its discretion, carry forward all or part of the unclaimed credits to the 2026 season.
To be eligible to earn Canola Credits;
- Growers must purchase Liberty Herbicide between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2024, to use on InVigor LibertyLink canola seed varieties in the 2024 growing season.
- The grower will earn canola credits for every one (1) Litre of Liberty Herbicide purchased, up to the maximum amount suitable to treat on their 2024 purchase of InVigor LibertyLink canola seed.
- The above will be calculated based on reservations made for InVigor Canola seed and Liberty Herbicide in the BASF MySeed system by agents on behalf of growers, and the maximum application rates advised on the Liberty Herbicide label.
- The grower, or the BASF agent acting on behalf of the grower, must reserve the desired quantity of Liberty Herbicide in the MySeed platform under the grower's name.
- The grower’s name and personal details must be true and correct when entered into the MySeed platform. Incorrect information may result in the grower being ineligible to earn and redeem Canola Credits.
- The grower, or the agent acting on behalf of the grower, must accurately update the amount of Liberty Link canola seed and Liberty herbicide purchased in the MySeed platform under the grower's name by the end of the Promotion Period.
- In the event the grower accrues credits that are not sufficient to redeem an entire bag of Liberty Link canola seed, BASF may, in its sole discretion, and without any obligation to do so, offer the grower a full bag or allocate a quantity redeemed to the nearest full bag quantity.
- Seed producers and trial co-operators contracted by BASF or by third parties on behalf of BASF are ineligible to earn Canola Credits on their Liberty herbicide purchases.
- BASF, or its agent, may request proof of purchase or other information from the purchaser to verify eligibility for Canola Credits.
- The grower agrees to comply with BASF’s privacy policy as outlined on the BASF Crop Solutions website and on the MySeed seed reservation platform.
