Stop sucking pest damage before it starts
Many cotton growers rely on Regent® for its exceptional control of green mirids, even at the lowest label rate. But there is a wide range of fruit and vegetable growers who have also seen the power of Regent’s Group 2B mode of action to control key sucking pests, including soil-borne insects in potatoes and sugarcane.
Regent is IPM-compatible with many beneficial species, but it is dangerous to bees. Be sure to read and follow the label instructions to avoid harming bee populations.
The active ingredient in Regent® is fipronil, a powerful Group 2B insecticide that controls insects without repelling them.
Insects are affected by contact with fipronil as well as ingestion of it. It is important to ensure thorough coverage of treated foliage when Regent is applied as a broadcast spray.
